Yang Hanyu (; born October 12, 1999, in Shandong) is a Chinese volleyball player. Her former full name is Yang Liu (). She participated at the 2018 Montreux Volley Masters, 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, and 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. She was the best blocker of 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship in fact as the member of Zhejiang women's volleyball team, Zhejiang Xitang. Yang (surname)
Yang (; ) is the transcription of a Chinese family name. It is the sixth most common surname in Mainland China. It is the 16th surname on the ''Hundred Family Surnames'' text. The Yang clan was founded by Boqiao, son of Duke Wu of Jin in the Spring and Autumn Period of the Ji (姬) surname, the surname of the royal family during the Zhou dynasty ) who was enfeoffed in the state of Yang. History The German sociologist Wolfram Eberhard calls Yang the "Monkey Clan", citing the totemistic myth recorded in the ''Soushenji'' and ''Fayuan Zhulin'' that the Yangs living in southwestern Shu (modern Sichuan) were descendants of monkeys. The ''Soushenji'' "reported that in the southwest of Shu there were monkey-like animals whose names were ''jiaguo'' (猳國), ''mahua'' (馬化), or '' jueyuan'' (玃猿). 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship
The 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship was the 22nd staging of the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA). The tournament was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 30 August to 6 September 2023. This is Thailand's sixth time serving as the host nation. The host Thailand women's national volleyball team, Thailand claimed their third title by defeating China women's national volleyball team, China in a tie-break final. The 2016 Asian Junior Women's Volleyball Championship was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 23 July to 31 July 2016. It acted as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship. The 2018 FIVB Women's Club World Championship was the 12th edition of the tournament. It was held in Shaoxing, China from 4 to 9 December. 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the inaugural edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, a new annual international women's volleyball tournament contested by 16 national teams that replaced the former World Grand Prix in the international calendar. The competition was held between May and July 2018, and the final round took place in the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, Nanjing, China.
