Yala, Kenya
Yala sub county is one of the administrative units of Siaya County, western Kenya. It is located 42 kilometres northwest of Kisumu, Kenya's third largest city. In 2009, it had a population of 25,769 and Yala town had a population of 2,438. Yala is served by a railway station, the Kisumu-Busia highway, Ndanu water treatment works, a jaggery (formerly Yala White Sugar Company) and Odera Akang'o campus, a constituent college of Maseno university. Yala (යාල) National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka, bordering the Indian Ocean. The park consists of five blocks, two of which are now open to the public, and also adjoining parks. The blocks have individual names such as, Ruhuna National Park (Block 1), and Kumana National Park or 'Yala East' for the adjoining area. Genetikk is a German hip hop group from Saarbrücken. Members Kappa and Sikk formed the group in 2009 and have since released nine studio albums. History Karuzo and Sikk are from Saarbrücken.
