''Yaanum Theeyavan'' () is a 2017 Indian Tamil Action film, action crime film, crime thriller film written and directed by debut director Prashanth G. Sekar. The film is based on a number of true events collectively. Prashanth G. Sekar is a former assistant director of director Hari (director), Hari in ''Singam II'' and director Vignesh Shivan in the film ''Podaa Podi''. The casting of the movie includes newcomer Ashwin Jerome along with Varsha Bollamma and Raju Sundaram in primary roles. The cinematography of the movie is done by Shreyaas Krishna, who also did it for ''Jil Jung Juk''. The music is composed by Achu Rajamani. The film was released on 30 June 2017. Ashwin Jerome
Ashwin Jerome is an up-and-coming actor who works in Tamil-language films. He is known for playing the lead role in ''Yaanum Theeyavan'' (2017). Career Ashwin was a professional dancer and he used to run a dance school before studying engineering and working in an information technology company for sometime. He had also completed a master's degree in business administration and worked in a resort in Singapore. His interest in cinema led him to join the theater group Koothu-P-Pattarai. He made his acting debut in ''Yaanum Theeyavan'' (2017), which starred Varsha Bollamma and Raju Sundaram. ''Jil Jung Juk'' () is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language black comedy film directed by debutant Deeraj Vaidy, who also co-wrote the script with Mohan Ramakrishnan. Siddharth produced the film under Etaki Entertainment banner, and also starred alongside Avinash Raghudevan and Sananth Reddy, playing the titular characters, who were assigned by a dreadful drug lord to transport drugs, and the struggles they faced during their journey, forms the crux of the storyline.
