Yury Ionovich Morozov (russian: Юрий Ионович Морозов; born 5 August 1949 in Sterlitamak, Bashkir ASSR, Russian SFSR, USSR Ossetia.ruRussian Yury Morozov is new PM of South Ossetia (5 July 2005)) is a Russian businessman and politician, and a former Prime Minister of South Ossetia. Morozov was confirmed by the Parliament of South Ossetia on 5 July 2005. 23 Out of 24 MPs present voted in favour of his candidacy. On 18 August 2008, it was announced that Morozov and his government had been dismissed by South Ossetian President Eduard Kokoity. Kokoity said he thought the government was not handling the emergency aid from Russia, which was arriving after the 2008 South Ossetia war, good enough. According to accounts of several South Ossetian military and political leaders, Morozov fled Tskhinval at onset of Georgian attack. Yury Morozov (footballer, Born 1934)
Yury Andreyevich Morozov (russian: Ю́рий Андре́евич Моро́зов; 13 May 1934 – 15 February 2005) was one of the best football coaches from the Soviet Union. He made his name as a midfielder in the 1950s and 1960s with his hometown clubs FC Zenit, Admiralteyets and FC Dinamo Leningrad, earning himself a call-up to the USSR 'B' team. He retired from playing at the age of 31 and worked at FC Zenit's youth academy and became a dean of football science at the Lesgaft Academy of Physical Education.
