Yuriy Gladyr
Yuriy Gladyr ( uk, Юрій Гладир; born 8 July 1984) is a Ukrainian professional volleyball player with Polish citizenship (since 14 January 2013), who plays as a middle blocker for Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie. He is a former member of the Ukraine national team. Career Club Gladyr spent the 2008–09 PlusLiga season, playing in AZS Politechnika Warszawska. In 2009, he moved to ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle. In the 2010–11 PlusLiga season he achieved his first silver medal of the Polish Championship. On 12 March 2011 ZAKSA, including Gladyr, achieved a silver medal of the CEV Cup. In the 2011–12 PlusLiga season he gained a bronze medal after winning matches with Jastrzębski Węgiel. On 27 January 2013 he won the Polish Cup. In the 2012–13 PlusLiga season, Gladyr achieved his second silver medal of the Polish Championship, in the final his team lost to Asseco Resovia. On 16 March 2014 he won the Polish Cup with ZAKSA. Poltava
Poltava (, ; uk, Полтава ) is a city located on the Vorskla River in central Ukraine. CEV Champions League
The CEV Champions League is the top official competition for men's volleyball clubs from the whole of Europe. The competition is organised every year by the European Volleyball Confederation. Formula (2018–19 to present) Qualification A total of 20 teams participate in the main competition, with 18 teams being allocated direct vacancies on the basis of ranking list for European Cup Competitions, and 2 teams from the qualification rounds. League round 20 teams take part in the League round where they are split in to 5 groups. After each match the following points are assigned: * Winner (3:0 or 3:1) – 3 points * Winner (3:2) – 2 points * Loser (2:3) – 1 point * Loser (1:3 or 0:3) – 0 points Each pool will be contested in a six-leg double round-robin home-and-away format. 2020–21 PlusLiga
The 2020–21 PlusLiga was the 85th season of the Polish Volleyball Championship, the 68th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish volleyball league system since its establishment in 1954, and the 21st season as a professional league. The league is operated by the Polish Volleyball League SA ( pl, Polska Liga Siatkówki SA). The season was composed of 14 teams. The regular season was played as a round-robin tournament. Each team played a total of 26 matches, half at home and half away. The season started on 11 September 2020 and concluded on 21 April 2021.
