Novotroitsk (russian: Новотро́ицк) is a town in Orenburg Oblast, Russia, located on the right bank of and along the Ural River, from Orenburg, on the border with Kazakhstan. In the east Novotroitsk almost borders Orsk: the distance between the two cities is less than . Population: History The history of Novotroitsk goes back to the beginning of the 20th century. Several families of peasants/immigrants from Ukraine settled near Silnov khutor and named their settlement Novotroitsk.
