Yuna Ito Discography
The discography of Japanese-American musician Yuna Ito consists of three studio albums, one compilation album and nineteen singles. Her debut album, ''Heart'', was released in 2007 after six singles, including one of the two theme songs for the film ''Nana'', "Endless Story" (2005), which also featured Ito in her acting debut, as well as " Precious" (2006), the theme song of the film '' Limit of Love: Umizaru''. Both of these songs were very commercially successful, becoming certified by the RIAJ. Yuna Ito
is an American-born former singer and actress who was active in Japan. She was born in Los Angeles and was raised in Hawaii. Ito made her musical debut in Japan with the single, "Endless Story", which was used as one of the theme songs for the popular 2005 film ''Nana''; she also starred in the film, portraying Reira Serizawa. In 2006, Ito reprised her role as Reira for the sequel of the film singing the theme song, "Truth". In 2007, Ito released her debut album, ''Heart'', which debuted atop the Oricon chart. Trust You is the thirteenth Japanese-language single by American pop singer Yuna Ito. The title song, "Trust You" is the theme to Japanese anime Mobile Suit Gundam 00 season 2, while "Brand New World" was used as a tie-up song for the Commercial of Hawkins Sport. Koi Wa Groovy X2
is the twelfth single by Yuna Ito. The single was released on November 26, 2008, two months after her previous single Miss You. To date, this is the lowest charting single of Ito's career. Overview On October 3, 2008, Ito left a message on her blog to say that she had recorded a new song with an up-beat tempo. On several fan sites and forums, it was rumored that the single was entitled "Good Beat Good Beat". Originally the first verse of the song started with "Hey boy", but it was later changed to "Hey girl." Explaining the change, Ito said: When I was recording the lyrics (to "Koi wa Groovy²"), they were actually "Hey boy," but when I was recording I was thinking, wait, I'm not out to go to clubs to get laid! is a song recorded by Canadian singer Celine Dion, taken from her tenth English-language studio album, ''Taking Chances'' (2007). It was written by Tino Izzo and Rosanna Ciciola, and produced by the Grammy-winning producer, John Shanks. Def Tech
Def Tech is a Japanese pop band signed to 2VOX Ltd, an independent label. Career Jesse, the vocalist from Rize, named the band, the members of which did their own songwriting, arranging, and production. Def Tech had the 3rd best-selling album in Japan in 2005 and performed at Live8 in Tokyo in July of that year. Def Tech started in 2003 and debuted in 2005. They rocketed in popularity, especially due to their song “My Way,” and their first, self-titled album charted at #1 and went on to sell 2.2 million copies. That same year (2005), they became the first indie label artist to perform at NHK’s Kohaku Uta Gassen. In September 2007 Def Tech broke up, citing different opinions on music direction.
