Athletes from the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia competed at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, USSR. 164 competitors, 135 men and 28 women, took part in 69 events in 17 sports. Yugoslav Olympic Committee
The Yugoslav Olympic Committee ( hr, Jugoslavenski olimpijski komitet; sr-Cyrl-Latn, Југословенски олимпијски комитет, Jugoslovenski olimpijski komitet, separator=" / "; sl, Jugoslovanski оlimpijski кomite; mk, Југословенски олимписки комитет, translit=Jugoslovenski olimpiski komitet) was the non-profit organization representing Yugoslav athletes in the International Olympic Committee. The YOC organized Yugoslavia's representatives at the Summer and Winter Olympic Games. Željko Jerkov
Željko Jerkov (born 6 November 1953, in Pula) is a former Croatian professional basketball player. At a height of 2.08 m (6'10") tall, and a weight of 95 kg (210 lbs.), he played at the center position. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA; ) is a drama school in London, England, that provides vocational conservatoire training for theatre, film, television, and radio. Rowing At The 1980 Summer Olympics
Rowing at the 1980 Summer Olympics was represented by 14 events. It took place in the ''Man-made Basin'', located at the ''Trade Unions Olympic Sports Centre'' (Krylatskoye district, Moscow). The rowing schedule began on 20 July and ended on 27 July. Due to the Western boycott some strong rowing nations were not present. In that situation East Germany dominated the competition: they won 14 medals, including 11 golds, from 14 events.
