Yuen Biao
Yuen Biao (born Ha Lingchun; 26 July 1957) is a Hong Kong actor, martial artist and stuntman. He specialises in acrobatics and Chinese martial arts and has also worked on over 80 films as actor, stuntman and action choreographer. He was one of the Seven Little Fortunes from the China Drama Academy at the Peking Opera School along with his "brothers" Sammo Hung and Jackie Chan. Yuen Biao has appeared in over 130 films. He has played roles in eight television series for the Hong Kong channel TVB. Early life Born Ha Lingchun () in Hong Kong in 1957, he was the fifth child in a family of eight children. At the age of six he was enrolled at the Peking Opera School ''The China Drama Academy''. ''Broken Oath'' () is a 1977 Hong Kong Mandarin-language kung fu film directed by Jeong Chang-hwa, a South Korean director. The film was produced by Golden Harvest. It is an unofficial remake of the 1973 film '' Lady Snowblood'', itself an adaptation of the manga series of the same name by Kazuo Koike and Kazuo Kamimura. Plot A woman lies dying in a women's prison after giving birth and recounts to a pickpocket how she ended up there after her husband was murdered by thugs, one of whom also raped her. The pickpocket agrees to raise her daughter to seek revenge, but in hopes of breaking the cycle of violence she hands the infant girl over to a Shaolin monastery for women. An anonymous thief steals a book from the library which teaches a potentially fatal style of Kung Fu. ''The Game of Death'' (Chinese: 死亡的遊戲) is an incomplete Hong Kong martial arts film, filmed between August and October 1972, directed, written, produced by and starring Bruce Lee, in his final film project. Lee died during the making of the film. Over 100 minutes of footage was shot prior to his death, which was later misplaced in the Golden Harvest archives. The remaining footage has since been released with Lee's original Cantonese and English dialogue, with John Little dubbing Lee's Hai Tien character as part of the documentary titled '' Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey''. Much of the footage that was shot is from what was to be the climax of the film. During filming, Lee received an offer to star in ''Enter the Dragon'', the first kung fu film to be produced by a Hollywood studio (Warner Bros.), and with a budget unprecedented for the genre ($850,000). ''Enter the Fat Dragon'' () is a 1978 Hong Kong martial arts film starring and directed by Sammo Hung. The film is mostly a parody of the Bruce Lee film ''Way of the Dragon'' (1972), and a satire of the Bruceploitation phenomenon of the 1970s. The title is a reference to another Bruce Lee film, ''Enter the Dragon'' (1973). The film had a belated video release in the United States, eventually coming out in 1999 after director and actor Sammo Hung became an unexpected success with his American TV series ''Martial Law''. In November 2017, it was announced that Donnie Yen would star in a remake of the film, directed by Kenji Tanigaki and Aman Chang. The remake was released in 2020. ''Warriors Two'' () is a 1978 Hong Kong martial arts film written and directed by Sammo Hung, who also co-stars in the film. The film stars Bryan Leung, Casanova Wong and Fung Hak-on. Leung plays the character of the historical figure, Leung Jan (or Leung Tsan), a well-known early practitioner of the Wing Chun style of kung fu. Leung's association with Wing Chun can be considered as the equivalent of Wong Fei-hung's association with the Hung Gar style. Along with '' The Prodigal Son'', ''Warriors Two'' is considered one of the best martial arts film displaying the authentic version of the Wing Chun style. ''Snuff Bottle Connection'' () is a 1977 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Dung Gam-woo and Lau Lap-lap, and starring Hwang Jang-lee and John Liu. The film was released in the Hong Kong on 15 September 1977. Plot In the late ming andqing dynasties (1799-to 1800s), the Russians are consorting with the traitorous Manchus, who plan to turn over a map of the strategic points the Russians could use to invade Chinese territories. So, with the hope that he can sniff out their pan and the traitors (and not get killed like their first spy), the government sends out Chow Tien (John Lui) to investigate and spy on the visiting Russian General, Tolstoy (Roy Horan), and his lackeys.
