"Young Forever" is a song by American rapper Jay-Z, released in early 2010 as the fifth single from his 2009 album ''The Blueprint 3'' on the Roc Nation label. The song was produced by Kanye West. It is a rework of Alphaville's 1984 song " Forever Young": the original melody is retained, British singer Mr. Hudson sings the original lyrics (primarily during the first verse and the chorus), and Jay-Z raps during the following verses in place of the original song's additional verses. It was released as the third official single in the United Kingdom (" D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)" was never officially released there). In that country, the song was originally scheduled to be released on the same day as Mr. Hudson's other collaboration with N-Dubz, " Playing with Fire", but the single was pushed back until January 25, 2010. The album achieved favourable reviews including NME, AllMusic and IndieLondon. Eric Thomas Paslay (born January 29, 1983) is an American country music singer and songwriter. He has released one album for EMI Nashville, which contains the hit singles " Friday Night", " Song About a Girl", and " She Don't Love You". In addition to these, Paslay has written several hit singles for other artists, and has collaborated with Amy Grant, Dierks Bentley, Charles Kelley, among others. Early life Eric Thomas Paslay was born in Abilene, Texas, and started playing guitar at the age of 15. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in the fall of 2005 with his Bachelor of Science degree. Career In mid-2011, Paslay signed to EMI Records Nashville. JR JR (pronounced "junior junior"; originally named Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.) is an American indie-pop band from Detroit, Michigan, consisting of Daniel Zott and Joshua Epstein. The band also includes drummer Mike Higgins. History Zott and Epstein met each other while playing in other Detroit music projects.
