''You're Missing the Point'', or ''Ahí está el detalle'' (Spanish, 'There's the rub', literally 'There lies the detail') is a 1940 Mexican comedy film starring Cantinflas. It was produced by Jesús Grovas and directed by Juan Bustillo Oro, who also co-wrote the screenplay. The film also features Joaquín Pardavé, Sara García, Sofía Álvarez, and Dolores Camarillo. It was the twelfth film in Cantinflas's career, considered one of his best by Mexican film critics, as well as one of Mexico's best films. The film's sets were designed by the art director Carlos Toussaint. Plot summary Cantinflas is the boyfriend of Paz, the household maid of Cayetano Lastre. It is dinnertime and Cantinflas is waiting outside the mansion for Paz's whistle: a sign for Cantinflas to enter the kitchen to eat. Narciso Busquets Zárate (8 September 1931 – 14 December 1988) was a Mexican actor of theater, film, television, radio and voice-over. He also directed a film, ''Sin fortuna'', in 1980. He began his acting career in 1937, as a child actor, and appeared as one of Cantinflas' sons in ''Ahí está el detalle''. Estanislao Schillinsky Bachanska (10 August 1911 – 27 September 1985), known as Estanislao Shilinsky or simply Shilinsky, was a Lithuanian-born Mexican comedian and the half of the 1940–1970 comedy duo ''Manolín y Shilinsky'' with Manuel Palacios ("Manolín"). Career Estanislao Shilinsky and his brother moved to Mexico as members of a Russian circus troup. His career started in the carpa circuit when he met Grigori Ivanov who introduced him to the Carpa Valentina that he owned. In 1929 he coached Mario Moreno and helped him improve his Cantinflas character. He later married Olga Subarev, the daughter of Ivanov, while Cantinflas married her sister Valentina Ivanova who the carpa was named after. One of Shilinsky's singular characteristics as a Mexican actor was his remnant Russian accent. His sidekick Manuel Palacio Sierra eventually lost his voice and died in poverty in 1977. Eduardo Arozamena Lira (13 October 1875 – 21 May 1951) was a Mexican actor. His nickname was "El Nanche Arozamena". Son of Juan Arozamena and Guadalupe Lira y Argomanes. Initially a singer (baritone), theater actor, he later ventured into film, where he was also a director and screenwriter. He worked in Mexico as well as in the United States, where he participated in the famous 1931 ''Dracula'' Spanish-language film, directed by George Melford. He also entered literature as a storyteller, with his works being published in the weekly "Mefistófeles".
