Yesterday's Dreams (TV Series)
''Yesterday's Dreams'' is a British romantic drama television series produced by Central Television for ITV. The series was written by Peter Gibbs and starred Paul Freeman and Judy Loe. Freeman and Loe play divorced couple Martin and Diane Daniels who rekindle their relationship after Diane begins a temping job at Martin's firm. Much of the series filmed in Tideswell, Derbyshire. Synopsis Seven years on from their divorce, Diane and Martin Daniels are living separate lives. Although Martin is at the peak of his career in the aerospace industry, he is coming under increasing pressure at work. Diane and her two teenage children live with her new partner Don, whose garage business is now in the doldrums. When financial problems force Diane to find work, the first company her secretarial agency places her with is Martin's. Inevitably, the two meet. Hugh Fraser (actor)
Hugh Fraser (born 23 October 1945) is an English actor, theatre director and author. He is best known for his portrayal of Captain Hastings in the television series ''Agatha Christie's Poirot'' opposite David Suchet as Hercule Poirot and for his role as the Duke of Wellington (replacing David Troughton) in the '' Sharpe'' television series. Fraser was born in Westminster but grew up in the Midlands. He studied acting at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Ed Devereaux
Edward Sidney Devereaux (27 August 192517 December 2003), better known professionally as Ed Devereaux, was an Australian actor, director, and scriptwriter who lived in the United Kingdom for many years. He was best known for playing the part of Matt Hammond the head ranger in the Australian television series '' Skippy the Bush Kangaroo''. He was also involved in the series behind the scenes, Devereaux writing the script and directing the episode ''The Veteran'' (1969), for which he received much critical acclaim. Devereaux based the story of the episode "Double Trouble" on an idea conceived by his children, wrote the screenplay of "Summer Storm" and the script for "The Mine". He also played the part of Joe in the Australian 1966 film ‘They’re a Weird Mob’. The film was a local success. Ted Childs is a British television producer, screenwriter, and director. Career Childs commenced training as a programme director with ABC Weekend TV in 1962. He went on to produce and direct a wide variety of factual programmes and documentary films, including episodes of ''This Week'', the then ITV current affairs flagship, and also contributed to the acclaimed series ''The World at War''. He was one of the founders of Euston Films, the film production company established by Thames Television in the early 1970s. Whilst there he produced ''The Sweeney'', ''Special Branch'' and the ''Quatermass'' series, together with a number of theatrical and television films, as well as writing and/or directing films and series episodes for both ITV and the BBC. Patrick Troughton
Patrick George Troughton (; 25 March 1920 – 28 March 1987) was an English actor who was classically trained for the stage but became known for his roles in television and film. His work included appearances in several fantasy, science fiction and horror films, and playing the Second Doctor, second incarnation of The Doctor (Doctor Who), the Doctor in the long-running British science fiction on television, science-fiction television series ''Doctor Who'' from 1966 to 1969; he reprised the role in 1972–1973, 1983 and 1985.
