Manga (Japanese: 漫画 ) are comics or graphic novels originating from Japan. ''Over Drive'' is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yasuda Tsuyoshi. It was serialized in Kodansha's ''shōnen'' manga magazine ''Weekly Shōnen Magazine'' from May 2005 to May 2008, with its chapters collected in 17 ''tankōbon'' volumes. A 26-episode anime television series, produced by Xebec and directed by Takao Kato, was broadcast from April to September 2007. The story revolves around the first year high school student Mikoto Shinozaki and his goal to become the greatest cyclist in the world and winning the Tour de France. Plot The story begins with a flashforward to the Tour de France, where Mikoto Shinozaki would become the first Japanese champion. ''Days'' (stylized as ''DAYS'') is a Japanese sports manga series written and illustrated by Tsuyoshi Yasuda. It was serialized by Kodansha's ''Weekly Shōnen Magazine'' from April 2013 to January 2021, with its chapters collected in 42 ''tankōbon'' volumes. In North America, the manga is licensed for English digital release by Kodansha USA. A 24-episode anime television series adaptation by MAPPA was broadcast from July to December 2016. Kodansha Manga Award
is an annual award for serialized manga published in the previous year, the event is sponsored by the publisher Kodansha. It is currently awarded in three categories: '' shōnen'', '' shōjo'', and general. The awards began in 1977, initially with categories for ''shōnen'' and ''shōjo''. The first award for the general category was in 1982, and the first children's category's award was in 2003. The children's category was merged into the ''shōnen'' and ''shōjo'' categories starting in 2015. Each winning work will be honored with a bronze statuette, a certificate and a prize of 1 million yen (about US$7,500). Taro Sekiguchi (manga Artists)
is a Japanese motorcycle road racer. He was the MFJ All Japan Road Race GP250 champion in 2001 and the European 250cc champion in 2003. Career Sekiguchi began his Grand Prix career competing in the 1999 250cc Japanese Grand Prix. He suffered a serious accident during the 2007 Czech Republic Grand Prix warm-up at Brno, where he struck Marco Simoncelli's crashed Gilera bike at full speed; he was airlifted to a hospital in Brno, where doctors confirmed he had a broken pelvis and two fractured ribs. After losing his Grand Prix ride, Sekiguchi returned to Japan, to the MFJ All Japan Road Race GP250 Championship. He moved into the MFJ All Japan Road Race ST600 Championship in 2009, before switching to the MFJ All Japan Road Race J-GP2 Championship, where he finished as runner-up in 2011, 8th in 2012, 12th in 2013, 6th in 2014 and 3rd in 2015.
