Yasemin Özata Çetinkaya
Yasemin Özata Çetinkaya (born Yasemin Özata in 1976) is a Turkish civil servant. She served as the Governor of Sinop from February 16, 2015 until July 16, 2016, when she was removed from office and her husband, a colonel in the Turkish Army, was arrested for allegedly taking part in the 2016 Turkish coup d'état attempt. Born 1976 in Ankara, she completed her primary school and high school education in her hometown. In 1996, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Public administration from Ankara University's Faculty of Political Sciences. She entered Ministry of the Interior, and began her career as a candidate district governor in Kırıkkale. During this term, she attended a language course for eight months in the United Kingdom. After returning home, she was appointed vice district governor in Gönen, Isparta. Sinop Province ( tr, Sinop ili ; el, Σινώπη, ''Sinopi'') is a province of Turkey, along the Black Sea. Talas, formerly known as Dalassa (Greek: Δάλασσα) is a town and now largely suburban enclave in central Anatolia in the district of Kayseri Province in Turkey. The population of Talas city was 165,127 in 2020, up from 30,485 in 1990. It is located about 7 km from the city of Kayseri and has evolved from an independent town to a satellite city of Kayseri. Talas is connected to neighboring Kayseri by road and by the Kayseray mass transit system. The city has experienced rapid urbanization and population growth in the last 30 years. Batman Province ( tr, , ku, Parêzgeha Êlihê) is a province in the Southeast Anatolia Region of Turkey.
