Yaraana (1995 Film)
''Yaraana'' () is a 1995 Bollywood romantic thriller film directed by David Dhawan and starring Madhuri Dixit, Rishi Kapoor, Raj Babbar, Kader Khan and Shakti Kapoor. It is loosely based on the American film ''Sleeping with the Enemy (1991 film), Sleeping with the Enemy'', starring Julia Roberts. The film is known for the hit song "Mera Piya Ghar Aaya". At the 41st Filmfare Awards, ''Yaraana'' won Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer, Best Female Playback Singer (Kavita Krishnamurthy for "Mera Piya Ghar Aaya"), in addition to a Filmfare Award for Best Actress, Best Actress for Dixit. The 41st Filmfare Awards were held in 1996. Satish Kaul
Satish Kaul (8 September 1946 – 10 April 2021) was an Indian actor in both Punjabi and Hindi movies. He acted in over 300 Hindi and Punjabi films and worked with Bollywood actors such as Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar and Shahrukh Khan amongst others. His notable film roles included ones in ''Sassi Punnu'', ''Ishq Nimana'', ''Prem Parbat'', ''Suhag Chooda'' and ''Patola''. Kaul won the "lifetime achievement" award for his contribution to Punjabi cinema at PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2011. He was regarded as one of the most successful regional film actors of all time.
