Xposé
''Xposé'' is an entertainment, fashion and beauty programme that aired on Irish television from 2007 to 2019. It was broadcast every Friday at 18:00 on Virgin Media One. It ran for a 3-day week at 20:00 on Virgin Media Two (previously known as "3e"). It originally aired weekdays for 30 minutes, with advertising; later it broadcast for 60 minutes, with advertising. History and format The show was first broadcast on 16 April 2007, at 6pm, with an initial budget of €600,000. ''TV3 News @ 6.30'' was axed, in order to make room in the schedule for the show, with ''Hollyoaks'' moving to 6.30 before it was later axed and replaced with ''Friends''. Lorraine Keane's entertainment update on TV3 News broadcasts was also removed. The show's format was similar to that of American celebrity news and gossip programmes, such as ''E! Karen Koster (born 9 April 1981) is an Irish-Dutch television presenter, known for her work on ''Xposé'' and ''Ireland AM''. Kirsteen O'Sullivan (born 24 November 1979) is a Scottish presenter on TV3 in Ireland. O'Sullivan joined TV3 in July 2009 as a freelance journalist on TV3 News. She presented TV3's motoring show ''Xccelerate'' and has appeared as a reporter on GMTV. She began presenting TV3's coverage of the UEFA Champions League in February 2010. ''The Six O'Clock Show'' is an Irish evening-time television show on Virgin Media One (formerly known as "TV3"). It is a live show, and provides chat, live music, cooking, entertainment, showbiz and technology updates. It replaced '' The 7 O'Clock Show'' as ''Emmerdale'' and '' Coronation Street'' returned to TV3. Background ''The Six O'Clock Show'' first began as an early afternoon show live on TV3 then called ''Late Lunch Live''. As part of the revamp of TV3's daytime schedule due to falling audience figures an extended version of ''Ireland AM'' and ''Late Lunch Live'' replaced ''The Morning Show''. Virgin Media Two, also called Virgin Two, is an Irish free-to-air television channel operated by Virgin Media Television (a subsidiary of Virgin Media Ireland). History 2006–2009 Channel 6 was launched on 30 March 2006, then operated by Kish Media's subsidiary Channel 6 Broadcasting Ltd. Kish Media was a consortium made up of Tullamore Beta Ltd (Windmill Lane Productions & Paul McGuinness ( U2 manager); owners of TV3), the Barry family of Barry's Tea, and Gowan Group. In its infant stages, the channels consortium invested €14 million to fund the project. Lorraine Keane (born 1972 or 1973) is an IFTA-nominated Irish broadcaster and journalist.
