Xonia (born Loredana Sachelaru; 25 June 1989) is an Australian-born Romanian singer, songwriter, actress and dancer. Biography 1989–2007: Early life and education Xonia was born 25 June 1989 in Melbourne, Australia to Romanian parents. Her birth name is Loredana Sachelaru but she was known as "Xonia" since her teen years. In 1997, Xonia began showing interest in music and was subsequently signed to a recording contract with a local label in early 2003. Throughout her adolescence she worked with several music producers such as Rob Davis, Doug Brady and Kevin Colbert in order to record her debut album. Simultaneously, Xonia graduated the Australian Ballet School (Certificate III in Dance) and was taken under the mentorship of Robert Sturrock, a well-known choreographer and dance coach. Deepcentral is a Romanian pop duo with house music influences formed in 2009 by Romanian DJ George Călin (now known as Manuel Riva) and vocalist Doru Todoruț. Călin, the DJ of the duo had begun his musical career with the band Demmo, that also included Anamaria Ferentz and Vik. Demmo they released four albums: ''Pentru inima ta'', ''Trei'', ''Ding Dang Dong'' and ''Cântecul meu''. Tha band lasted from 2001 to 2006. Deepcentral released their self-titled debut album ''Deepcentral'' of mainly dance house music on 3 June 2009 on Universal Music Romania with "Cry It Away" being their first charting single. José Álvaro Osorio Balvín (born 7 May 1985), known professionally as J Balvin, is a Colombian singer and songwriter. He has been referred to as the " Prince of Reggaeton" (from Spanish: "Príncipe del Reggaetón"), and is one of the best-selling Latin artists, with over 35 million records. Balvin was born in Medellín. At age 17, he moved to the United States to learn English, where he lived in both Oklahoma and New York. Richmond Football Club
The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers, is an Australian rules football team playing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Between its inception in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond in 1885 and 1907, the club competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), winning two premierships. Richmond joined the Victorian Football League (now known as the AFL) in 1908 and has since won 13 premierships, most recently in 2020. The Golden Stag Festival ( ro, Cerbul de Aur) is the most popular Romanian song contest and awards, held annually in the town of Braşov, Romania. Callatis Festival
Callatis Festival is the largest music and culture festival held in Romania. Location The festival is held on a barge that is docked at Mangalia Marina. The barge consists of a huge stage and a very large backstage area, enough to hold over 200 people. The spectators sit on stairs across the harbor, about away from the stage. History The Callatis Festival began in 1999 and has expanded ever since. Dates The Callatis Festival is held every summer between 8 and 15 August.
