Xavier Ong
Xavier Ong (Chinese: 王勝宇 / 王胜宇; pinyin: ''Wang Sheng Yu'', born 20 April 1994) is a Singaporean actor. Early life Ong was born on 20 April 1994 in Singapore. Step son of Singapore actor Wang Yuqing. He attended Outram Secondary School but did not manage to graduate due to the widely controversial incident in 2010 while he was taking the national 'O' Level examinations. Career Early career Ong's career began soon after he was signed on for guest roles on several local television programs. After a single episode stint on the documentary-drama Crimewatch, he made cameo appearances on several other documentary-drama series. Wang Yuqing
Tan Chooi Leong or better known as Wang Yuqing (, born 9 September 1961) is a Singaporean actor. Education Wang studied at Willow Avenue Secondary School. Career Prior to his acting career, Wang served out his NS days in the Aerodrome fire service. He was offered a contract by the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) after completing the 3rd drama training course in 1982. Wang first acted in SBC's Army series before starring in SBC's earliest idol drama, ''The Flying Fish'', in 1983, which catapulted him to stardom. In 1988, Wang almost joined Hong Kong's TVB but decided against it, citing his poor grasp of Cantonese and reluctance to leave a stable environment. Initially he had left the industry in 1995 to concentrate on his second job as an insurance agent but returned to MediaCorp in 2000 as a freelancer at the persuasion of some friends. ''The Dream Job'' (Chinese: 绝世好工) is a Singaporean drama produced and telecast on Mediacorp Channel 8. The show aired at 9pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8am the following day. The series stars Shaun Chen, Jeanette Aw, Rebecca Lim, Zhang Zhenhuan, Ian Fang and Hong Kong veteran actor, Hugo Ng, as the main cast. The show is Channel 8 mid year blockbuster for 2016. ''Dance Dance Dragon'' () is a Singaporean comedy film from Mediacorp Raintree Pictures and Golden Village Pictures that was released for Chinese New Year on January 19, 2012 in Singapore and in March in Malaysia.
