Xavier Johnson
Xavier Elijah Johnson (born October 14, 1999) is an American college basketball player for the Indiana Hoosiers of the Big Ten Conference. He previously played for the Pittsburgh Panthers. Early life and high school career Johnson grew up in Spotsylvania County, Virginia but moved to Woodbridge, Virginia to be closer to Bishop O'Connell High School after he enrolled at the school. He entered high school at 5'6, but grew six inches by his senior year. He became Bishop O'Connell's starting point guard as a junior and was named second team All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) after averaging 10.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists. Johnson was named the (WCAC) Player of the Year, as well a first team All-State and first team All-Metro by The Washington Post, as a senior after averaging 18.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. Indiana Hoosiers Men's Basketball
The Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball team represents Indiana University Bloomington in NCAA Division I college basketball and competes in the Big Ten Conference. Georgetown Hoyas Men's Basketball
The Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball program represents Georgetown University in NCAA Division I men's intercollegiate basketball and the Big East Conference. Georgetown has competed in men's college basketball since 1907. The current head coach of the program is Patrick Ewing. 2021–22 Indiana Hoosiers Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball team represented Indiana University in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by first-year head coach, and former Indiana standout, Mike Woodson. The team played its home games at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana, as a member of the Big Ten Conference. The season officially kicked off with the annual event, Hoosier Hysteria, on October 2, 2021. This season saw a list of streaks come to an end for the Hoosiers. They finished the season 21–14 overall, and 9–11 in conference play. Along the way, IU ended losing streaks to Purdue, Michigan, and Illinois. The Kansas State Wildcats men's basketball team represents Kansas State University in college basketball competition. The program is classified in the NCAA Division I, and is a member of the Big 12 Conference. The head coach is Jerome Tang. The program began competition in 1902. 2020 NBA Draft
The 2020 NBA draft was held on November 18, 2020. The draft was originally scheduled to be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on June 25, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it was instead conducted at ESPN's facilities in Bristol, Connecticut, with the event held via videoconferencing. National Basketball Association (NBA) teams took turns selecting amateur United States college basketball players and other eligible players, including international players.
