Xavier Grimble
Xavier Grimble (born September 22, 1992) is a former American football tight end. He played college football at USC. High school Grimble attended Bishop Gorman High School in Summerlin, Nevada. Named a ''USA Today'' All-American as a senior in 2009, he had 39 catches for 709 yards (18.2 avg.) with nine touchdowns, helping Bishop Gorman to a 15–0 record and victory in the state 4A title game. As a junior in 2008, he had 13 receptions for 310 yards (23.8 avg.) with four touchdowns. He was selected to play in the 2010 Under Armour All-America Game in St. Petersburg, Florida. The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Larry Donnell (born November 1, 1988) is a former American football tight end. He played college football for Grambling State. He was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2012. Early years Donnell attended Carroll High School in Ozark, Alabama, where he played football, basketball, and baseball. College career Donnell played football for four seasons at Grambling State University. He switched from quarterback to tight end during his freshman year. Randall Telfer (born May 16, 1992) is a former American football tight end. He played college football at the University of Southern California (USC). He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. High school career Telfer was born on May 16, 1992, in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section).
