Xavi Rey
Xavier "Xavi" Rey Sanuy (born 13 July 1987) is a Spanish professional basketball player for CB Prat of the Spanish LEB Oro, second tier national competition. Standing at 2.10 m (6 ft 10 ¾ in) and weighing 114 kg (252 lbs), he plays as center. Professional career Rey saw action against the Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA preseason game, despite having not yet made the regular rotation of FC Barcelona in the Spanish ACB League. In the summer 2019 he joins Olimpia Milano for the summer preparation due to the missing players that were playing in the Fiba World Cup; on 24 September, day of the starting 2019/2020 season of the Italian Serie A, Rey receives the offer to stay in Milan for the rest of the season. Less than a month later, he reaches a mutual agreement with the club and, on 19 October, Milan and Rey part ways. He did not play any official game with Milan. Liga Española De Baloncesto
The Liga Española de Baloncesto, also known as LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the FEB. The Liga Española de Baloncesto is divided into two categories (the other one is the LEB Plata). The LEB league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. It was renamed LEB Oro in 2007. The league is contested by 18 clubs. Each season, the top-finishing team in the LEB Oro are automatically promoted to the Liga ACB. The teams that finish the season in 2nd to 9th place enter a playoff tournament, with the winner also gaining promotion to the Liga ACB. The three lowest-finishing teams in the LEB Oro are relegated to LEB Plata. EuroBasket 2013 was the 38th edition of the EuroBasket championship that was organized by FIBA Europe. It took place from 4 September until 22 September 2013 in Slovenia. The number of participating teams was 24. France defeated Lithuania in the final to win their first title. Tony Parker was named the tournament's MVP. The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club basketball league that has been organised in Italy since 1920. The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup was the 18th tournament of the FIBA Basketball World Cup for men's national basketball teams. The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs.
