X Games Harley-Davidson Flat-Track racing was an event for the ESPN Summer X Games held in Austin, Texas, first held on June 4, 2015. Flat-Track racing will return to X Games for 2016 in Austin on Thursday, June 2, 2016. The 2015 event had a very rough track due to torrential rains, but was still very well received by the public and press Competition Rules The 2015 event utilized AMA Pro Flat Track GNC1 equipment rules as they apply to twin-cylinder motorcycles. X Games
The X Games are an annual extreme sports event organized, produced and broadcast by ESPN. Coverage is also shown on ESPN's sister network, ABC. The inaugural X Games were held during the summer of 1995 in Providence and Newport, Rhode Island, United States. Participants compete to win bronze, silver, and gold medals, as well as prize money. The Harley-Davidson XR-750 is a racing motorcycle made by Harley-Davidson since 1970, primarily for dirt track racing, but also for road racing in the XRTT variant. The XR-750 was designed in response to a 1969 change in AMA Grand National Championship rules that leveled the playing field for makes other than Harley-Davidson, allowing Japanese and British motorcycles to outperform the previously dominant Harley-Davidson KR race bike. The XR-750 went on to win the most races in the history of American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) racing. The XR-750 is associated with the careers of racers Mark Brelsford, Cal Rayborn, and Jay Springsteen, and was the favorite motorcycle of stunt performer Evel Knievel. Davis Fisher (born November 21, 1997) is an American professional motorcycle racer. He competes in the AMA Pro Flat Track championship since 2014, winning the GNC2 championship in 2015 and competing in the GNC1 Championship in 2016. AMA Pro Flat Track Fisher raced in the AMA Pro Flat Track Series beginning in 2014 at the age of just 16. He scored TK wins and TKT podiums in his rookie year, finishing the championship in second place, just one point shy of Champion Kyle Johnson. In 2015, Fisher clinched the GNC2 championship with two rounds remaining. Aside from three mechanical DNFs, he placed no lower than second in any of the races for the season. Henry Wiles
Henry Wiles (born March 11, 1984) is an American Flat Track racer from the United States who has competed in the championship since 2003, winning the Peoria TT event a record 14 times in a row, 2004 through 2018. He is married to Kristen Overfield (Wiles) as of October 2019 American Flat Track Wiles began racing in the American Flat Track Series (then known as AMA Pro Flat Track) in 2003. That year he finished seventh at the Peoria TT. Starting in 2004, he won the event every year it took place (it was rained out in 2007) for 14 consecutive victories through 2018, beating Chris Carr's record of 13 (non-consecutive) wins overall at the historic track.
