X Ambassadors (also stylized XA) are an American pop rock band from Ithaca, New York. Its members currently include lead vocalist Sam Harris, keyboardist Casey Harris, and drummer Adam Levin. Russ Flynn is a touring member that plays guitar and bass. Their most notable songs include "Jungle", " Renegades", and " Unsteady". The band's debut full-length album, '' VHS'', was released on June 30, 2015. Their second album, '' Orion'', was released on June 14, 2019. Their third album, ''The Beautiful Liar'', was released on September 24, 2021. The company houses a record label, music publishing, commercial production and a marketing agency. The company is home to several prominent acts in the music industry, including Imagine Dragons and X Ambassadors. ''The Reason'' is the second major-label EP (and third overall) by American rock band X Ambassadors, released on January 27, 2014. It spawned the single Jungle. This EP also includes track Unsteady. Composition Musically, ''The Reason'' has been described as an album with elements of trap music and indie pop, with "a country vibe to it". X Ambassadors member Sam Harris cited rock singer Bruce Springsteen as a big influence on the album. ''Love Songs Drug Songs'' is the third and major-label debut EP by American rock band X Ambassadors, released on May 7, 2013. It spawned one single: "Unconsolable". Composition Shannon Carlin of Radio.com described the style of ''Love Songs Drug Songs'' as being "in the vein of old '60s soul, '90s R&B, and funk". The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market. ''Townie'' is the fourth studio album by American rock band X Ambassadors. It was released on April 5, 2024 by Virgin Records, following their third studio album ''The Beautiful Liar'' (2021). The album revolves around band members Sam and Casey Harris' childhood living in Ithaca, New York. Stylistically, it deviates from the electronic heavy sound of ''The Beautiful Liar'' by incorporating acoustic guitar-led melodies and less production. The band embarked on the Townie Tour in promotion of the album. Background The genesis for the creation of the album stemmed from Todd Peterson, music teacher and mentor of Sam and Casey Harris, passed away in 2021. After returning to Ithaca for the first time in many years, the band began recording and producing the album with most songs being already written. ''The Beautiful Liar'' is the third studio album by American rock band X Ambassadors. It was released on September 24, 2021 by record labels Kidinakorner and Interscope Records. The album follows X Ambassadors' second album, ''Orion'' (2019) and the band's EP ''Belong'' (2020). It is concept album, playing similarly to a radio drama. Background Their multi-collaborative series ''(Eg)'' and ''Belong'' EP were material largely recorded weeks before the lockdowns as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. All three band members wrote and composed the tracks virtually, starting with what they had before the lockdown and expanding upon it.
