XL (Extra Large)
Clothing sizes are the sizes with which garments sold off-the-shelf are labeled. Sizing systems vary based on the country and the type of garment, such as dresses, tops, skirts, and trousers. There are three approaches: * Body dimensions: The label states the range of body measurements for which the product was designed. (For example: bike helmet label stating "head girth: 56–60 cm".) * Product dimensions: The label states characteristic dimensions of the product. (For example: jeans label stating inner leg length of the jeans in centimetres or inches (not inner leg measurement of the intended wearer).) * Ad hoc sizes: The label states a size number or code with no obvious relationship to any measurement. (For example: Size 12, XL.) Children's clothes sizes are sometimes described by the age of the child, or, for infants, the weight. Traditionally, clothes have been labelled using many different ad hoc size systems, which has resulted in varying sizing methods between differe ...

40 (number)
40 (forty) is the natural number following 39 and preceding 41. Though the word is related to "four" (4), the spelling "forty" replaced "fourty" in the course of the 17th century and is now the standard form. In mathematics *Forty is a composite number, a refactorable number, an octagonal number, and—as the sum of the first four pentagonal numbers: 1 + 5 + 12 + 22 =40—it is a pentagonal pyramidal number. Adding up some subsets of its divisors (e.g., 1, 4, 5, 10, and 20) gives 40; hence, 40 is a semiperfect number. *Given 40, the Mertens function returns 0. 40 is the smallest number with exactly nine solutions to the equation Euler's totient function \varphi (x)=n. *Forty is the number of -queens problem solutions for n=7. *Forty is a repdigit in ternary (1111, ''i.e.'', 3^ + 3^ + 3^ + 3^, or, in other words, \frac ) and a Harshad number in decimal. XL (programming Language)
Christophe de Dinechin is a French computer scientist, with contributions in video games, programming languages and operating systems. Programming languages Dinechin contributed to C++, notably a high-performance exception handling implementation that became a de facto standard in the industry. de Dinechin was one of the proponents of a portable C++ ABI, initially developed for Itanium, but now widely used across platforms. XL programming language Dinechin is the designer of the XL programming language and associated concept programming methodology. "XL" is named for "eXtensible Language". XL features programmer-reconfigurable syntax and semantics. Compiler plug-ins can be used to add new features to the language. A base set of plug-ins implements a relatively standard imperative language. Programmers can write their own plug-ins to implement application-specific notations, such as symbolic differentiation, which can then be used as readily as built-in language features. ...
