XHTVL-TDT (channel 13) is a television station in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico, the flagship station of the Canal 13 regional network owned by Albavisión. Established in 1980, XHTVL was the first station in Mexico owned by Remigio Ángel González. It was a regional affiliate partner of Televisa until 2018, in the wake of the progressive disaffiliation of Televisa from its local stations and Albavisión's expansion plans to build a semi-national network. XHDY-TDT is a television station broadcasting from its transmitter in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas and studios in the state capital of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. XHDY broadcasts on virtual channel 13 (physical channel 36) and is part of the Telsusa regional network. History XHDY's concession was awarded on June 19, 1984, to José de Jesús Partida Villanueva, a businessman with connections to Televisa. In 1993, the station's concession was transferred to Comunicación del Sureste. ATV (known as Andina de Televisión) is a Peruvian television network founded in 1959 and relaunched in 1983. The network is the flagship property of Grupo ATV, one of Peru's largest media and broadcasting companies. Coatzacoalcos () is a major port city in the southern part of the Mexican state of Veracruz, mostly on the western side of the Coatzacoalcos River estuary, on the Bay of Campeche, on the southern Gulf of Mexico coast. Palenque, Chiapas
Palenque is a city and municipality located in the north of the state of Chiapas, Mexico. The city was named almost 200 years before the nearby Mayan ruins were discovered in the 18th century. The area has a significant indigenous population, mostly of the Ch'ol people, a Mayan descendant. The city is the only urban area in a municipality of over 600 communities, and is surrounded by rainforest. Deforestation has had dramatic effects on the local environment, with howler monkeys occasionally seen in the city as they seek food. Tenosique, Tabasco
Tenosique is a town located in Tenosique Municipality in the southeastern corner of the state of Tabasco, in Mexico. Its official name is Tenosique de Pino Suárez. The town had a 2020 census population of 34,946 inhabitants (the fourth-largest community in the state after Villahermosa, Cárdenas, and Comalcalco), while the municipality had a population of 62,310. Tenosique's etymology: from the Maya words "Tana" or house and "tsiic" weaving or counting threads. Which leaves us with "casa de los hilanderos " or "House of Weavers or thread counters". Height Above Average Terrain
Height above average terrain (HAAT), or (less popularly) effective height above average terrain (EHAAT), is the vertical position of an antenna site is above the surrounding landscape. HAAT is used extensively in FM radio and television, as it is more important than effective radiated power (ERP) in determining the range of broadcasts ( VHF and UHF in particular, as they are line of sight transmissions). Effective radiated power (ERP), synonymous with equivalent radiated power, is an IEEE standardized definition of directional radio frequency (RF) power, such as that emitted by a radio transmitter.
