XHK-TV
XHK-TV was a television station on channel 10 in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. It broadcast from facilities in Colina del Sol, on the east side of the city of La Paz, and was owned by Televisión La Paz, S.A. History XHK was the first television station in Baja California Sur. It received its concession on May 30, 1968, and came to air on June 3. Broadcasting on channel 10 with an effective radiated power of 8,200 watts, XHK was a sister to XENT-AM 790, also owned by Francisco King Rondero and the first radio station in the territory, and the two stations formed the Radio and Television Center (''Centro de Radio y Televisión''). XHK's local programs included news, sports, and lifestyle programs, as well as programming from Televisa (primarily through FOROtv and Gala TV Gala TV was a Bingo (United Kingdom), bingo channel in the United Kingdom, launched in 2006 by Gala Bingo. XHNT-FM is the callsign of a radio station in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. XHNT broadcasts on 97.5 MHz and carries Radio Fórmula programming. The station is also on AM as XENT-AM 790 kHz. History of the XENT call sign XENT-AM were the call letters of a border-blaster radio station licensed to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. It operated nightly from 1933 to 1940 on 1140 kc/s with a power reported from 50 kW to 150 kW. In 1944–1945, XENT's transmitter was acquired by Alamo Broadcasting for use at KABC in San Antonio, in a contested action. XENT was the continuation of KTNT ("Know The Naked Truth"), Norman G. Televisa Regional is a unit of Televisa, Grupo Televisa which owns and operates television stations across Mexico. The stations rebroadcast programming from its subsidiary TelevisaUnivision (United States), TelevisaUnivision's other networks, and they engage in the local production of newscasts and other programs. Foro (English: "Forum"), is a broadcast news television channel owned by TelevisaUnivision. It is seen on most Mexican cable systems and full-time on two stations in Mexico, including XHTV-TDT in Mexico City, with selected programs airing on Televisa Regional and Televisa local stations.
