XHJPA-FM
XHJPA-FM is a Regional Mexican radio station serving Jojutla and Cuernavaca, Morelos. History XHJPA began as XEDO-AM 1190 with a concession granted on October 6, 1965. The call sign was changed to XEJPA-AM in the late 1990s or early 2000s, at the same time the station began transmitting at night and increased its day power to 5 kW. Formats of the late 1990s and early 2000s included "La Grande 1190 AM", W Radio, and the short-lived Red W Interactiva Red W Interactiva was a talk radio network in Mexico that operated from October 22, 2001, to January 31, 2002. XHASM-FM
XHASM-FM is an Adult Contemporary radio station in Cuernavaca, Morelos. Broadcasting on 107.7 MHz, XHASM is owned by Radiorama and carries its Éxtasis Digital format. History XEJC-AM 1340 was awarded to Eduardo Jiménez de la Cuesta, with a concession date of May 14, 1943. In 1950, it was sold to Miguel Ángel Tenorio Benítez, and then in 1954 to Negocios Modernos, S. de R.L., also controlled by the Tenorio Benítez family. Negocios Modernos expanded, founding XHTB-FM 105.9 (later 93.3) in the late 1960s. Sometime in the 1990s or early 2000s, XEJC became XEASM-AM. It then migrated to FM in 2011 as XHASM-FM 107.7. Jojutla
Jojutla is a municipality in the state of Morelos, Mexico. Its municipal seat is the city of ''Jojutla de Juárez''. The name ''Jojutla'' comes from Nahuatl ''Xoxōuhtlān'' () and means, ''Place of abundant blue skies''. Another interpretation is Jojutla should be written Xo-Xoutla and its etymological roots come from: ''xoxou-ki'', (dye called indigo) and ''Tla-ntli'', (teeth) to indicate abundance, so the name means: ''Place abundant in blue paint''. This meaning is corroborated by Father José Agapito Mateo Minos in ''Nohualco Tlalpixtican'' (1722), about how he saw the maceration and decanting tanks of the ''xoxouki'' plant, when it still existed in the plaza ''Zacate''. Morelos
Morelos (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Morelos ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Morelos), is one of the 32 states which comprise the Federal Entities of Mexico. It is divided into 36 municipalities and its capital city is Cuernavaca. Morelos is a landlocked state located in South Central Mexico. Cuernavaca
Cuernavaca (; nci-IPA, Cuauhnāhuac, kʷawˈnaːwak "near the woods", ) is the capital and largest city of the state of Morelos in Mexico. The city is located around a 90-minute drive south of Mexico City using the Federal Highway 95D. The name ''Cuernavaca'' is a euphonism derived from the Nahuatl toponym and means 'surrounded by or close to trees'.
