Several years later, it was sold to Radio Promotora de Jalisco, and beginning in the late 1960s, it was a Grupo ACIR station in Guadalajara and broadcasting on 850, known as XEMIA-AM "Radio Felicidad". Chapala () is a town and municipality in the central Mexican state of Jalisco, located on the north shore of Lake Chapala, Mexico's largest freshwater lake.
