Hetu Ala
Hetu Ala ( zh, 赫圖阿拉城; Manchu:) was the first capital of the Later Jin (1616–1636) state, the predecessor of the Qing dynasty of China. It was the capital from 1616 to 1622. It was renamed to Xingjing ( zh, 興京) in 1634. The site of Hetu Ala is located in Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Liaoning, along the Suzi River, a tributary of the Hun River. History Hetu Ala was the place of residence of Giocangga, a Jurchen chieftain and the grandfather of Nurhaci. In 1603, Nurhaci ordered the construction of a city at Hetu Ala and used it as his base of power. In 1616, Nurhaci proclaimed himself khan in the Octagonal Hall at Hetu Ala, founding the state of Later Jin. In 1621, the "Eastern Capital" was constructed near the city of Liaoyang as the new Jin capital. In 1624, the tombs of Nurhaci's family and ancestors were moved to the Eastern Capital. Later Jin (1616–1636)
The Later Jin, officially known as Jin or the Great Jin, was a royal dynasty of China in Manchuria and the precursor to the Qing dynasty. Established in 1616 by the Jianzhou Jurchen chieftain Nurhaci upon his reunification of the Jurchen tribes, its name was derived from the earlier Jin dynasty founded by the Wanyan clan which had ruled northern China in the 12th and 13th centuries. In 1635, the lingering Northern Yuan dynasty under Ejei Khan formally submitted to the Later Jin. The following year, Hong Taiji officially renamed the realm to "Great Qing", thus marking the start of the Qing dynasty. During the Ming–Qing transition, the Qing conquered Li Zicheng's Shun dynasty and various Southern Ming claimants and loyalists, going on to rule an empire comprising all of China, stretching as far as Tibet, Manchuria, Mongolia, Xinjiang, and Taiwan until the 1911 Xinhai Revolution established the Republic of China. ''Gun Metal Grey'' is a 2010 Hong Kong police procedural television drama produced by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB). It originally aired on Jade from 1 November to 10 December 2010, consisting of 30 episodes. ''Gun Metal Grey'' is a dramatisation and fictional telling of Hong Kong's top ten criminal cases, which tells about the complexities of human nature and the strangeness of truth. ''Gun Metal Grey'' is written by Lau Choi-wan and Leung Yan-tung, with Terry Tong serving as the executive producer. The drama is one of two grand TVB productions to celebrate the channel's 43rd anniversary, the other being '' No Regrets'', both were the first to be broadcast live in English subtitles. The Chinese title of ''Gun Metal Grey'' literally means " criminal police", which can also be used to a describe a cop who commits a crime.
