Xavier García Albiol
Xavier García Albiol (born 8 December 1967) is a Spanish politician and member of the People's Party. He has been the president of the Badalona branch of his party since 1990, and he was the mayor of Badalona between 2011 and 2015, and again from 2020 to 2021. He was reelected mayor by an absolute margin in 2023. Biography Born as the son of an ''egetano'' (constituent of Vélez-Blanco) street sweeper driver and a Catalan hairdresser, Albiol grew up in Morera, on the outskirts of the city of Badalona, and studied at the Colegio Badalonés. Later, thanks to his height of , he played basketball with the team Joventut Badalona. He began studying law, but in 1989 abandoned his studies for a career in politics. Xavier García (water Polo)
Xavier García Gadea (born 5 January 1984) is a Spanish-Croatian water polo player. He was a member of the Spain national team between 1999 and 2013, finishing in sixth place at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, fifth at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and sixth again at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In 2003, García, then playing for CN Barcelona-Noferthe, ended up in fifth place with the national side at the 2003 World Aquatics Championships in his home town of Barcelona. Since 2010, García has played in Croatia. After being left out of the Spain national team in 2013, he obtained the Croatian citizenship in 2016 to be able to take part in the Rio Olympics, facing Spain in the group stage. Moisés Xavier García Orellana (born 26 June 1990 in San Salvador, El Salvador) is a Salvadoran professional footballer who plays as a defender for the El Salvador national team. Club career San Salvador FC García's professional career began on 3 July 2007, when he signed a contract with now defunct Salvadoran national league club, San Salvador F.C. He was one of six players from the El Salvador U17 national team, that would sign for San Salvador F.C. that season. The others were Ricardo Orellana, Diego Chavarría, William Maldonado, Óscar Arroyo and Fabricio Alfaro. He made his professional debut on 7 November 2007 in a league match against C.D. Vista Hermosa.
