XHVQ-FM is a radio station on 96.9 FM in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, known as Vibra Radio. History XENP-AM 830—also known as XENSM—received its concession on May 15, 1964. It was originally located in Navolato and owned by Salvador Águilar Montenegro, whose family owned several local gas stations, operating as a 1,000-watt daytimer. Within several years, the call sign was changed to XEVQ-AM, and station operations moved to Culiacán. By the 1980s, XEVQ was owned by Radio y Televisión del Noroeste and operating with 5,000 watts. Culiacán
Culiacán, officially Culiacán Rosales, is a city in northwestern Mexico, the capital and largest city of both the Culiacán Municipality and the state of Sinaloa. ACIR is an acronym for ''Asociación de Concesionarios Independientes de Radio'' (Association of Independent Radio Concessionaires). Navolato
Navolato is a city in Navolato Municipality in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. It is located on the central coast part of the state bordering the Gulf of California. The municipality reported 135,603 inhabitants in the 2010 census, while the city reported 29,153 inhabitants. The city is located about 25 kilometers west of Culiacán and can be reached by road. The municipality is in area and includes many smaller communities in addition to the city of Navolato; the largest of these are the towns of Campo Gobierno, and General Ángel Flores (La Palma). Mazatlán
Mazatlán () is a city in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. The city serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding ''municipio'', known as the Mazatlán Municipality. It is located at on the Pacific coast, across from the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula. ''Mazatlán'' is a Nahuatl word meaning "place of deer". The city was founded in 1531 by an army of Spaniards and indigenous people. By the mid-19th century, a large group of immigrants arrived from Germany.
