XHPU-FM is a noncommercial radio station on 97.1 FM in Monclova, Coahuila. It is operated by GRM Radio and known as La PU. History XEPU-AM 1110 received its permit on August 11, 1982 and was licensed to operate with 250 watts as a daytimer. It later migrated to FM. XEPU is one of the few permit stations to hold a four-letter callsign and one of the first to operate in conjunction with commercial stations (in this case, XHMDA-FM 104.9). Monclova (), is a city and the seat of the surrounding municipality of the same name in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila. According to the 2015 census, the city had 231,107 inhabitants. XHMDA-FM is a radio station on 104.9 FM in Monclova, Coahuila. It is owned by GRM Radio and known as Ke Buena national with a grupera format from Radiópolis . History XEMDA-AM 1170 received its concession on March 26, 1997. It was a 500-watt daytimer originally owned by Radiorama Radiorama were an Italian Italo disco band formed in 1984 by Simona Zanini and Aldo Martinelli. They were later joined by Mauro Farina and Giuliano Crivellente. Their first two singles, "Chance to Desire" and "Desire" were European hits. Disco ... subsidiary Comunicación y Cultura, S.A. In February 1999, Karam, who owned GRM, bought XEMDA from Radiorama in exchange for XECPN-AM in Piedras Negras. Under GRM, XEMDA began operating with 1,000 watts during the day and 500 at night.
