XHOZ-FM (Veracruz)
XHOZ-FM is a radio station on 91.7 FM in Xalapa, Veracruz. History The concession for XEOZ-AM 960 was awarded to Luis Ignacio Santibañez Patiño on January 16, 1946, with the current concessionaire being created in 1983. In 1994, the station gained its FM counterpart and adopted the ACIR contemporary hit music format. The station then transitioned to the romantic music format in the early 2000s. On October 27, 2022, the station's air staff announced their departure. Carlos Ferráez then took over operations on November 1, initially retaining the Amor name and branding used by ACIR. The change followed the sale or shutdown of five other ACIR stations across Veracruz during 2022. Notes References

XHDQ-FM
XHDQ-FM is a radio station on 103.9 FM in San Andrés Tuxtla, Veracruz, Mexico. The station is owned by Grupo ACIR; it was the company's first station and, by 2022, its smallest-market property. Grupo ACIR ceased operating XHDQ-FM on June 29, 2022, as part of a retreat from three stations in southern Veracruz. The station was then sold to Cuatro Media, a Xalapa-based station group owned by Carlos Ferráez, and returned to the air. History XEDQ-AM received its concession on July 22, 1961. It broadcast on 1400 kHz and was owned by Radio Ondas de los Tuxtlas, S.A. Two years later, on June 8, 1963, XEDQ was bought by Francisco Ibarra López, who in 1965 formed Grupo ACIR. By 1969, XEDQ had moved from 1400 to 1360; it would move to 830 sometime in the 1990s. In 2010, XEDQ received authorization to move to FM. Xalapa or Jalapa (, ), officially Xalapa-Enríquez (), is the capital city of the Mexico, Mexican States of Mexico, state of Veracruz and the name of the surrounding municipality. Grupo ACIR is a Mexican media company specializing in the operation of radio stations. It was established in 1965. ACIR is an acronym for ''Asociación de Concesionarios Independientes de Radio'' (Association of Independent Radio Concessionaires). History Grupo ACIR was founded on June 8, 1965, when Francisco Ibarra bought the XEDQ-AM (Radio Alegría) station in San Andrés Tuxtla, Veracruz. During the next two years, three new radio stations were integrated: XEOM-AM in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, XEMM-AM in Morelia, Michoacán, XEMIA-AM in Guadalajara, Jalisco; and three stations of amplitude modulation in the Mexico City: XEL-AM Radio Capital, XEFR-AM Radio Felicidad and XEVOZ-AM Radio Voz. XHGR-FM is a radio station on 104.1 FM in Xalapa, Veracruz. It is owned by Avanradio and operated by Quatro Media Telecomunicaciones and carries the Los 40 pop format from Radiópolis. History XEGR-AM 1160 received its concession on December 21, 1957. It was based in Coatepec, Veracruz, Coatepec and broadcast with 1,000 watts as a daytimer. By the late 1960s, XEGR had moved to 1040; power was raised to 2,500 watts (with 1,000 watts night) in the 1990s. XEGR was authorized to move to FM in November 2010.
