XHMAB-FM/XEMAB-AM is a radio station in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico. Broadcasting on 101.3 FM and 950 AM, XHMAB is owned by Radiorama and operated by Organización Radio Carmen and carries a FM Globo format from MVS Radio. History XEMAB-AM 950 was licensed to Mario Antonio Boeta Blanco in 1973 for operation with 250 watts of power and migrated to FM with an authorization in 2010. Boeta Blanco was mayor of Ciudad del Carmen from 1974 to 1976 and also had helped establish XEIT-AM, the first radio station in Carmen, in the 1960s. In May 2017, XHMAB dropped its La Poderosa Regional Mexican format for Retro. In August 2020, XHMAB changed its format to El Heraldo Radio. All Retro shows, including Centro Regional de Noticias, were moved to XHPMEN-FM, a new station being leased by Radiorama. XHIT-FM
XEIT-AM/XHIT-FM is an AM-FM combo radio station in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico, broadcasting on 1070 AM and 99.7 FM. It is operated by Organización Radio Carmen and carries the Exa FM pop format from MVS Radio and is owned 50 percent by members of the Boeta family and 50% by Grupo Radiorama. History XEIT came to air in January 1962 as the first radio station in Carmen. Mario Antonio Boeta Blanco, who would later start XHMAB-FM, XEMAB-XHMAB radio and become mayor of the city in the mid-1970s, helped to establish XEIT; Boeta Blanco and other family members continue to own half of the station, with the remaining shares held by members of the founding families of Radiorama. The station became an AM/FM combo in 1994, as part of the first wave of AM/FM combo stations in various regions of Mexico. XHPMEN-FM
XHPMEN-FM is a radio station on 93.9 FM in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico. It is owned by NRM Comunicaciones and operated by Grupo Radiorama, known as Retro FM with a Spanish classic hits format. History XHPMEN was awarded in the IFT-4 radio auction of 2017. NRM chairman Edilberto Huesca Perrotín paid 5.737 and 5.687 million pesos and came away with XHPMEN and XHPCDC-FM 92.3. Ciudad del Carmen is a city in the southwest of the Mexican state of Campeche. Ciudad del Carmen is located at on the southwest of Carmen Island, which stands in the Laguna de Términos on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. , Ciudad del Carmen had a population of 169,466, up from the 2005 census of 154,197. Grupo Radiorama
Grupo Radiorama is the largest owner and operator of radio stations in Mexico. Founded in 1970, the company operated nearly 400 radio stations in 2014. History Radiorama was founded on December 9, 1970, by Javier Pérez de Anda and Adrián Pereda López. The two founders had previous experience at other radio groups, such as Organización Radio Centro and Radiópolis. Radiorama started with 7 stations, but grew to 150 by 1985.
