XHPAV-FM (branded as Fiesta Mexicana) is a Mexican Spanish-language FM radio station that serves the Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico area. It is licensed to Pueblo Viejo, Veracruz Veracruz (), formally Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave), is one of the 31 states which, along with Me ... but its transmitter and studio facilities are in Tampico. History XEPAV-AM 1540 was licensed to Radiorama subsidiary Mensajes Musicales, S.A., on October 4, 1994. Soon after, it moved to 1030 kHz. In 2011, XEPAV migrated to FM on 91.7 MHz. In 2015, it was authorized to move its transmitter to a new facility in Tampico. In 2017, XHPAV changed its name to Fiesta Mexicana, using the positioning used in other Radiorama clusters. The frequency is 103.5 MHz. History XEJT-AM 1460 received its concession on August 20, 1960. It was owned by Carlos Zárate Urbina and broadcast with 1,000 watts. By 1966, Música Radiofónica, S.A., had bought the station. The callsign was changed to XEOLA-AM in the 1970s. In the 1990s, XEOLA moved to 710 kHz; it was cleared to move to FM in 2011. On April 28, 2018, XHEOLA-FM moved from 107.9 to 103.5 MHz. The frequency change was a requirement of its 2017 concession renewal, so as to clear 106-108 MHz for community and indigenous stations. Pueblo Viejo is one of the 212 municipalities of the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is located in the state's Huasteca Alta region. The municipal seat is the city of Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, Veracruz. Geography The municipality covers a total area of 286.24 km² and is located on Federal Highway 123. It borders with the state of Tamaulipas and the municipality of Pánuco to the north and west, with the Gulf of Mexico to the east, and with Tampico Alto to the south. Grupo Radiorama is the largest owner and operator of radio stations in Mexico. Founded in 1970, the company operated nearly 400 radio stations in 2014. History Radiorama was founded on December 9, 1970, by Javier Pérez de Anda and Adrián Pereda López. Tuxpan
Tuxpan (or Túxpam, fully Túxpam de Rodríguez Cano) is both a municipality and city located in the Mexican state of Veracruz. The population of the city was 78,523 and of the municipality was 134,394 inhabitants, according to the INEGI census of 2005, residing in a total area of . Poza Rica
Poza Rica (), formally: Poza Rica de Hidalgo is a city and its surrounding municipality in the Mexican state of Veracruz. Its name means "rich well/pond". It is often thought that the name came to be because it was a place known for its abundance of oil. In reality, before oil was discovered, there existed a pond rich in fish, which gave origin to the city’s name. In the last century oil was discovered in the area. It has since been almost completely extracted. This has resulted in the decline of oil well exploration and drilling activities, though there are still many oil facilities.
