XHCEL-FM
XHCEL-FM is a radio station on 103.7 FM in Celaya, Guanajuato. XHCEL is owned by Corporación Bajío Comunicaciones and carries a pop format known as El y Ella. History XECEL-AM received its concession on March 13, 1987, broadcasting with 100 watts on 950 kHz. It launched that year with the Radio Fiesta name. XECEL was owned by Enrique Bernal y Servín, who had the year before built the first FM station in Celaya, XHCGT-FM 107.5 (now XHQRO-FM). XECEL was approved to migrate to FM in 2011. The El y Ella format has bounced around several stations that were at one point or another part of CBC. It was originally on XHCGT until what was then known as Corporación Celaya Comunicaciones opted to move all of XHCGT except its transmitter to Santiago de Querétaro. Cortazar is a city and its surrounding municipality located in the southeastern quadrant of the state of Guanajuato in Mexico. It is bordered to the north by Villagrán, to the north and east by Celaya, to the southeast by Tarimoro, to the south by Salvatierra, and to the west by Jaral del Progreso and Salamanca. XHY-FM is a radio station on 96.7 FM in Celaya, Guanajuato. It is owned by Corporación Bajío Comunicaciones and known as Radio Lobo with a grupera format. History XEY-AM received its concession on July 28, 1952. It was owned by Dolores Suárez de Zamarroni and broadcast on 1360 kHz. After being sold to XEY Radio Celaya, S.A., the station was bought and operated by Grupo ACIR and then Corporación Bajío Comunicaciones. In 2011, XEY was authorized to migrate to FM. In 2012, Radiorama bought XEY/XHY; however, the company did not get the concession in its name until 2015, and when it did, it transferred it to a concessionaire using the wrong calls.
