X-Men Red
X-Men Red is an American comic book series published by Marvel Comics, featuring characters from X-Men stories. The first series was an eleven-issue comic book series published by Marvel Comics in monthly installments between February and December 2018. It was written by Tom Taylor and illustrated by Mahmud A. Asrar. The book followed a new team of X-Men led by Jean Grey following her return in ''Phoenix Resurrection''. The second series featured the conflicting mutant factions on the Planet Arakko after the terraforming of Mars. Publication history Volume 1 ''X-Men Red'' is part of the X-Men franchise and a sister book to ''X-Men Gold'' and '' X-Men Blue'', which began ten months earlier. It follows events from the December 2017 miniseries ''Phoenix Resurrection: The Return of Jean Grey'' written by Matthew Rosenberg and illustrated by Leinil Francis Yu. Travis Charest (born 1969) is a Canadians, Canadian comic book artist, comic book penciller, inker and Painting, painter, known for his work on such books as ''Darkstars'', ''WildC.A.T.s'', ''Grifter (comics), Grifter/Shi (comics), Shi'', ''WildC.A.T.s/X-Men: Golden Age of Comics, The Golden Age'' and ''The Metabarons''. Jean Grey
Jean Elaine Grey is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character has been known under the aliases Marvel Girl, Phoenix and Dark Phoenix. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist/co-plotter Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in '' The X-Men'' #1 (Sept. 1963). Jean is a member of a subspecies of humans known as mutants, who are born with superhuman abilities. She was born with telepathic and telekinetic powers. Her powers first manifested when she saw her childhood friend being hit by a car. She is a caring, nurturing figure, but she also has to deal with being an Omega-level mutant and the physical manifestation of the cosmic Phoenix Force. Jean experienced a transformation into the Phoenix in the ''X-Men'' storyline "The Dark Phoenix Saga". She has faced death numerous times in the history of the series.
