X-Force
X-Force is a fictional team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly in association with the X-Men. Conceived by writer/illustrator Rob Liefeld, the team first appeared in ''New Mutants#New Mutants Vol. 1, New Mutants'' #100 (April 1991) and soon afterwards was featured in its own series called ''X-Force (comic book), X-Force''. The group was originally a revamped version of the 1980s team, the New Mutants. X-Force's first leader was the Mutant (Marvel Comics), mutant Cable (comics), Cable. An offshoot of the X-Men, X-Force takes a more Militant (word), militant and aggressive approach towards its enemies compared to the X-Men. An alternate incarnation of X-Force appears in the 2018 film ''Deadpool 2'' as part of the X-Men (film series), ''X-Men'' film series. Domino (comics)
Domino (Neena Thurman) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is best known as a member of the mutant team X-Force. Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/co-writer Rob Liefeld, Domino made her first full cover story appearance in ''X-Force'' #8 (March 1992) as an original member of the Wild Pack team led by the mutant Cable. In addition to her exceptional marksmanship and hand-to-hand skills, Domino possesses mutant probability-altering powers. She often uses her skills as a mercenary, but has also been the partner, confidante, and love interest of the superhero Cable, a lieutenant in his militant group X-Force, and a member of the X-Men. Cable (comics)
Cable (Nathan Christopher Charles Summers) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with X-Force and the X-Men. The child Nathan first appeared as a newborn infant in ''The Uncanny X-Men'' #201 (Jan. 1986) created by writer Chris Claremont and penciler Rick Leonardi, while the adult warrior Cable was created by writer Louise Simonson and artist/co-writer Rob Liefeld, and first appeared in ''The New Mutants'' #87 (March 1990). Initially, Cable's origin was undecided and he was assumed to be a separate character. It was later decided that he was actually an older version of the child Nathan, having later become a time traveler. Nathan Summers is the son of the X-Men member Cyclops (Scott Summers) and his first wife Madelyne Pryor (Jean Grey's clone). Tabitha Smith is a fictional character, a mutant superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with The X-Men and related titles. Created by Jim Shooter and Al Milgrom, the character first appeared in ''Secret Wars II'' #5 (Nov. 1985). She then appeared as a member of X-Force and later as a member of Nextwave. Tabitha is mentally able to create variably-sized yellow orbs of pure energy that explode with concussive and destructive force. Fantomex
Fantomex is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is commonly associated with the X-Men titles. Fantomex first appeared in '' New X-Men'' #128 (August, 2002) and was created by Grant Morrison and Igor Kordey. Initially introduced as a character similar to Fantômas and Diabolik, he is later revealed to be an escaped experiment from the Weapon Plus Program. Publication history Fantomex resembles the titular character of the Italian comic book ''Diabolik'' and its film adaptation '' Danger: Diabolik''. The character of Diabolik was in turn loosely based on the character Fantômas, the subject of a series of early-20th century French detective thrillers and a popular Mexican comic book adaptation, whose name is more directly reflected in Fantomex's own name. Cannonball (Samuel Zachary Guthrie) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Bob McLeod, Cannonball first appeared in ''The New Mutants'' (Sept. 1982). Cannonball is a mutant who uses the ability to fly at jet speeds while encased in an impenetrable force field. Cannonball was a founding member of the X-Men's junior team, the New Mutants, and served as X-Force's second-in-command and field leader. He eventually joined the X-Men, becoming the first member of a secondary team to "graduate". The eldest of a large Kentucky coal mining family, several of his siblings, such as Husk, Aero, Icarus and Jeb, are also mutants and have joined X-Men-related teams.
