Włodzimierz Mazur
Włodzimierz Mazur (18 April 1954 – 1 December 1988) was a Polish professional footballer who played as a striker. He played mostly for Zagłębie Sosnowiec and spent two seasons in France with Rennes. He made 23 appearances scoring 2 goals for the Poland national team and was a participant at the 1978 FIFA World Cup. In 1988, he died suddenly at the age of 34. Opatów
Opatów (; yi, אַפּטאַ, אַפּט) is a town in southeastern Poland, within Opatów County in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship (Holy Cross Province). Historically, it was part of a greater region called Lesser Poland. In 2012 the population was 6,658. Opatów is located among the hills of Lesser Polish Upland, with the Opatówka river dividing the town into two parts. Tourist attractions include a 12th-century Collegiate Church of St. Martin, 15th-century baroque Bernardine monastery, 16th-century city gate and town hall as well as several other notable buildings. The town marks the intersection of two main roads - European route E371, and national road nr 74 (Piotrków Trybunalski – Hrubieszów). Opatów, however, has no rail connection.
