Tomasz Wójtowicz
Tomasz Grzegorz Wójtowicz (22 September 1953 – 24 October 2022) was a Polish volleyball player. In his later life, he worked as a volleyball commentator. As a member of the Poland men's national volleyball team, Poland national team, he won the titles of the 1976 Summer Olympics, 1976 Olympic Champion and the 1974 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, 1974 World Champion. Wójtowicz was considered one of the first volleyball players in the world to start attacking from the back row. In 2001, he was listed by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball, International Volleyball Federation as one of the top eight volleyball players in the world. In 2002, he became the first Polish volleyball player to be inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame. Wójtowicz died after a long illness on 24 October 2022, at the age of 69. The House of Wojtowicz from Volhynia (plural form: Wojtowiczowie) was a part of the nobility of Poland (the family's roots were probably in the Lithuanian-Ruthenian nobility). The village of Wojtowice of Ostróg County in Volhynia is the origin of this house. Wojtowicz family is sealed with the Lubicz coat of arms. John Wojtowicz
John Stanley Joseph Wojtowicz (March 9, 1945January 2, 2006) was an American bank robber whose story inspired the 1975 film ''Dog Day Afternoon''. Early life Wojtowicz was the son of a Polish father and an Italian-American mother (nee Terry Basso). He served in the United States Army and was posted to Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Personal life Wojtowicz married Carmen Bifulco in 1967. They had two children and separated in 1969. In 1971, Wojtowicz met Elizabeth Eden at the Feast of San Gennaro in New York City. The two had a public wedding ceremony that year. Wojtowicz was at some point a member of the Gay Activists Alliance. He used at that time the alias "Littlejohn Basso" (Basso being his mother's maiden name). Rudolf Wojtowicz
Rudolf Wojtowicz (born 9 June 1956 in Bytom) is a retired Polish football player, who in different periods of his career was a defender or a midfielder. Wojtowicz initially represented Szombierki Bytom, winning Polish championships in 1980. In the early 1980s he left Poland and settled in Germany. Wojtowicz played for Bayer Leverkusen (1982–1986) as well as Fortuna Düsseldorf (1986–1992). Also, between 1996 and 1998, he was head coach of Fortuna. Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo (born 1975) is an American filmmaker and writer. Biography She studied film at Tisch School of the Arts where she graduated summa cum laude in 2003. Her debut short film ''Pâté'' premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to win several prestigious awards including NYU's Wasserman Award, the ''Fielle d'Or'' at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, the Grand Jury Prize at the WorldFest Houston International Film Festival, New York Magazine's Award of Excellence and the Special Jury Prize at the Atlanta Film Festival. Mack Bolan, alias '' The Executioner'', is a fictional character who has been serialized in 631 novels with sales of more than 200 million books. Created by Don Pendleton, Bolan made his first appearance on the printed page in ''The Executioner #1: War Against the Mafia'' (1969).
