Wytaliba is a community in north-east New South Wales. It is located next to the Mann River, between the Mann River Nature Reserve and Barool National Park, about 40 km east of Glen Innes, and has a population of around 100. Northern Tablelands
The Northern Tablelands, also known as the New England Tableland, is a plateau and a region of the Great Dividing Range in northern New South Wales, Australia. It includes the New England Range, the narrow highlands area of the New England region, stretching from the Moonbi Range in the south to the Queensland border in the north. The region corresponds generally to the Bureau of Meteorology forecast area for the Northern Tablelands which in this case includes Inverell although it is significantly lower in elevation. Division Of New England
The Division of New England is an Australian electoral division in the state of New South Wales. History The division was proclaimed in 1900, and was one of the original 65 divisions to be contested at the first federal election. It is named after the New England region in northern New South Wales. From 1922 to 2001, New England was usually regarded as a comfortably safe seat for the National Party, formerly the Country Party. Only one Labor candidate has ever won the seat – Frank Foster at the 1906 election and again at the 1910 election, both times on small margins. Since then, the closest Labor has come to winning the seat was in the 1943 landslide, when the Country majority was pared back to an extremely marginal 1.1 percent. Mann River (New South Wales)
Mann River, a perennial stream of the Clarence River catchment, is located in the Northern Rivers district of New South Wales, Australia. Course and features Mann River rises at Llangothlin Lake, on the slopes of the Great Dividing Range, near Ben Lomond and flows generally north north east, east, north east and north, joined by four tributaries including the Nymboida River, Henry River and Yarrow River, before reaching its confluence with the Clarence River, southwest of Baryulgil. The river descends over its course; and flows through the Mann River Nature Reserve. Mann River Nature Reserve
The Mann River Nature Reserve is a protected nature reserve that is located on the eastern edge of the Great Dividing Range on the Northern Tablelands in the New England region of New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The reserve is situated approximately east of the town of , some west of , and approximately north-east of . The reserve is located to the south of the Gwydir Highway on the Old Grafton Road. The Mann River bisects the reserve. History After an interest to protect the area, on 7 July 1985 an area of was gazetted as the Mann River Nature Reserve. The reserve is currently managed by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. The reserve is set nearby the old Grafton road, which in its day was the major route between Glen Innes and Grafton.
