Wyndham Clark
Wyndham Robert Clark (born December 9, 1993) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. In May 2023, he won the Wells Fargo Championship for his first PGA Tour win; the following month, he won his first major, the 2023 U.S. Open. Amateur career Clark attended Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where he was classmates with NFL player Christian McCaffrey. In high school, he twice won the Colorado state golf championship and was named player of the year in 2011. He initially enrolled at Oklahoma State in 2012, finishing in a tie for ninth place in stroke play at the 2013 U.S. Amateur. He transferred to Oregon in 2016, winning the Pac-12 conference championship and GolfWeek Player of the Year. He graduated with a business degree in 2017. Palmer Cup
The Arnold Palmer Cup is an annual team golf competition for college/university golfers. From 2018 it has been contested between a United States team and an International team representing the rest of the world. The teams consist of 12 men and 12 women. The teams are selected on the basis of nationality, not according to the location of the players' universities. The Players Championship (commonly known as simply The Players, stylized by the PGA Tour as The PLAYERS Championship) is an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Originally known as the Tournament Players Championship, it began in 1974. The Players Championship at one point offered the highest purse of any tournament in golf ($20 million). The field usually includes the top 50 players in the world rankings, but unlike the major championships and World Golf Championships events, it is owned by the PGA Tour and not an official event on other tours. The 2022–23 PGA Tour is the 108th season of the PGA Tour, and the 56th since separating from the PGA of America. The season began on September 15, 2022. The 2023 FedEx Cup Playoffs will begin on August 10, and conclude on August 27, 2023. The Miss New Mexico USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of New Mexico in the Miss USA pageant. It is directed by Laura's Productions based in El Paso, Texas. New Mexico achieved many placements in the 1960s to the '80s and produced one Miss USA, Mai Shanley in 1984. The most recent placement was Suzanne Perez in 2022, placing in the Top 12.
