The song is named after Haitian rapper Wyclef Jean, who is best known for being part of the Fugees. The song peaked at number 87 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, and is best known for its music video, which was released on January 16, 2017. Young Thug never showed up for the shooting of the video, and it subsequently went viral as a result. Jeffery Lamar Williams (born August 16, 1991), known professionally as Young Thug, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is considered to be an influential figure of his generation, with his music impacting the modern sound of hip hop and trap music.
