Wu Jing (actress)
Wu Jing (born 1 July 1949) is a Chinese actress. She starred in many films in the 1980s and 1990s. She is also known for her roles in many popular TV series, like ''Sinful Debt'' (1995) and ''The Story of a Noble Family'' (2003). Biography Both of Wu Jing's parents Wu Fuhai () and Pan Wenzheng () were in the People's Liberation Army when she was born near the end of the Chinese Civil War. Wu Jing grew up in Shanghai, and after graduating from Nanyang Model High School in the Cultural Revolution, was " sent-down" to work in Yuyao and later Dafeng County. Despite passing all qualification tests Wu was repeatedly denied entry to art troupes only because her parents were labeled "Capitalist roaders" during the time. It wasn't until 1975 that she landed a supporting role in the propaganda film ''Breaking with Old Ideas''. ''Golden Fingernails'' is a 1989 Chinese drama film directed by Bao Zhifang, loosely based on 4 of the 10 interviews in Xiang Ya's 1988 work '' Women Speak''. Queen Dong (17 October 1623 – 30 July 1681), birth name Dong You, posthumous name Chaowu Wangfei,''Haiji Jiyao ()'' by Xia Lin was the princess consort of Koxinga and mother of Zheng Jing. Biography In 1623, Dong was born in a Jinjiang family with scholar-official, and her father was Dong Yangxian, a politician of Southern Ming. In 1642, Dong married Koxinga and gave birth to Zheng Jing. In 1649, Koxinga became Prince of Yanping (); as the result, Dong became his princess consort. In 1662, Koxinga defeated Frederick Coyett and his army in the Siege of Fort Zeelandia, and Kingdom of Tungning was later built. After Koxinga died, Dong's son Zheng Jing won the succession to the throne of Tungning by defeating Zheng Xi in a civil war and Zheng Tai in a political struggle. Empress Zhangxian Mingsu (章獻明肅皇后); lit. “The orderly, worthy, wise and solemn Empress.” more commonly known as Empress Liu (劉皇后), was an empress of the Song dynasty, married to the Emperor Zhenzong in 1012 and quickly gained the emperor's trust to discuss government matters. Empress Xiaochengjing (1471– 28 August 1541), of the Zhang clan, was a Chinese empress consort of the Ming dynasty, married to the Hongzhi Emperor and mother of the Zhengde Emperor.
