Wu Cherng-dean
Wu Cherng-dean (; born 10 May 1957) is a Taiwanese politician. As of 2003 and 2006 he was of the New Party of the Republic of China in Taiwan and served as a legislator. In 2003 he and Sisy Chen joined the People First Party (PFP) legislative caucus. By 2007 he was a legislator with the Kuomintang. He has been the chairperson of the New Party since 21 February 2020. His cousin is actor-singer Wu Chun.。 Political career 2014 Kinmen magistracy election On 12 January 2008, he joined the 2008 Republic of China legislative election as a Kuomintang candidate from Kinmen constituency. New Party (Republic Of China)
The New Party (NP) (; Hakka: ''Sîn Tóng''), formerly the Chinese New Party (CNP), is a Chinese nationalist political party in the Republic of China (Taiwan). History The New Party was formed on 22 August 1993 out of a split from the then-ruling Kuomintang (KMT) by members of the New Kuomintang Alliance. Members of the Alliance had accused KMT Chairman Lee Teng-hui of autocratic tendencies and moving the party away from Chinese unification. Co-founders of the New Party included Chen Kuei-miao. Originally, the party wanted to keep the name of the faction, but was prevented from doing so due to the similarity of names. The name "New Party" was seemingly inspired by the contemporary electoral success of the Japan New Party ("Nihon Shintō"; see Politics of Japan). Wu Chun ( zh, t=吳尊; born Goh Kiat Chun, Joseph Wu on 10 October 1979) is a Bruneian actor, singer, and model. He was a member of Fahrenheit, a Taiwanese Mandopop vocal quartet boy band, from its debut in 2005 to June 2011, singing bass. Liu Cheng-ying (; Foochow Romanized: Làu Cĕng-éng; born 24 August 1958) is a politician in the Republic of China. He is the Magistrate of Lienchiang County since 25 December 2014. Hsinchu County (Wade–Giles: ''Hsin¹-chu²'') is a county in north-western Taiwan. The population of the county is mainly Hakka; with a Taiwanese aboriginal minority in the southeastern part of the county. Chiu Ching-chun (; born 8 December 1949) is a Taiwanese politician. He was the Magistrate of Hsinchu County since 20 December 2009 until 25 December 2018. Miaoli County
Miaoli County (Mandarin Pinyin: ''miáo lì xiàn''; Hakka PFS: ''Mèu-li̍t-yen''; Hokkien POJ: ''Biâu-le̍k-koān'' or ''Miâu-le̍k-koān'') is a county in western Taiwan. Miaoli is adjacent with Hsinchu County and Hsinchu City to the north, Taichung to the south, and borders the Taiwan Strait to the west. Hsu Yao-chang (; born 30 June 1955) is a Taiwanese politician. He represented Miaoli County in the Legislative Yuan from 2002 to 2014, when he was elected Magistrate of Miaoli County. Education Hsu graduated from the Chin-Min Institute of Technology and completed his master's degree in industrial and commercial management at Chung Hua University.
