Wu Changde
Wu Changde (; born 1952) is a retired general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). He served as deputy director of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission from 2011 to 2017. Biography Wu Changde was born in 1952 in Dayu County, Jiangxi. He joined the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in December 1970 and the Chinese Communist Party in 1972. He graduated from the Department of Philosophy of Fudan University in Shanghai. The 18th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party was elected by the 18th National Congress on 15 November 2012, and sat in plenary sessions until the communing of the 19th National Congress in 2017. It was formally proceeded by the 17th Central Committee. The committee is composed of full members and alternate members. A member has voting rights, while an alternate does not. If a full member is removed from the CC the vacancy is then filled by an alternate member at the next committee plenum — the alternate member who received the most confirmation votes in favour is highest on the order of precedence. Du Jincai (; born October 1952) is a retired General officer, general (''Jiang (rank), shangjiang'') of the People's Liberation Army who served as Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Central Military Commission. Chengdu Military Region
The Chengdu Military Region was one of seven military districts and is located in the southwest of the People's Republic of China, covering Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, and the Xizang/Tibet Autonomous Region. The Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission () is the chief political organ under the Central Military Commission. It was created in January 2016 following the 2015 People's Republic of China military reform. Its predecessor was the People's Liberation Army General Political Department.
