Wrestling Summit
The Wrestling Summit or La Copa de Lucha was a professional wrestling event held on September 22, 2006 at the Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada. Promoted by NWA Pro Wrestling, the event was a ground-breaking attempt to mix the American professional wrestling style with the Mexican lucha libre style. The event was a huge success and spurred the NWA to tour across the nation with the hybrid combination. The Event La Copa de Lucha The Wrestling Summit featured a 4-team international tag team tournament called La Copa de Lucha. The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) is an American professional wrestling professional wrestling promotion, promotion and former professional wrestling governing body operated by its parent company Lightning One, Inc. Adam Pearce
Adam John Pearce (born June 24, 1978) is an American professional wrestling executive and former professional wrestler. He is currently employed by WWE as Director of Live Events, producer, trainer, coach, and on-screen authority figure. Paul Anthony Tracy (born December 17, 1968) is a Canadian-American former professional auto racing driver who competed in CART, the Champ Car World Series and the IndyCar Series. The NWA British Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling championship that formerly served as the major title in the NWA UK Hammerlock promotion. The title is currently promoted by Dru Onyx's Torture Chamber Pro Wrestling Dojo along with the NWA Canadian Tag Team Championship.
