Worthmann & Steinbach was a Chicago-based architectural firm that was active from 1903 through 1928. It was a partnership between Henry W. Worthmann (June 18, 1857 – April 11, 1946) and John G. Steinbach (b. 1878) The firm is best remembered for its design of large and elaborate churches in the Chicago area which were built for Roman Catholic, Eastern Catholic, and Lutheran clients. Hollenbach Building
The Hollenbach Building was a building at 808 W. Lake Street in Chicago's Fulton Market District, which was designed by Worthmann & Steinbach and was built in 1912.The Economist'. January 27, 1912. p. 235. Retrieved February 12, 2020. It was built at a cost of $12,000, and was owned by Charles Hollenbach, housing the Hollenbach Seed Company. An addition was proposed in 1919, to be designed by Worthmann & Steinbach, but no permit was ever issued for its construction. Hollenbach Seed Company left the building in 1958, moving to the northwest suburbs. South Bend is a city in and the county seat of St. Joseph County, Indiana, on the St. Joseph River near its southernmost bend, from which it derives its name.
