''Worst Bakers in America'' is an United States, American cooking competition food reality television, television series that aired on Food Network, presented by chefs Duff Goldman and Lorraine Pascale. The series is a spin-off (media), spin-off of ''Worst Cooks in America''. The first season started on October 2, 2016. The second season started on July 22, 2019, with Jason Smith (chef), Jason Smith replacing Duff Goldman. Food reality television is a genre of reality television programming that considers the production, consumption and/or sociocultural impact of food. Reality food television emerged as a recognisable sub-genre in the 1940s. Historically, food reality television sought to educate viewers on matters of food. Early programmes such as ''Elsie Presents'', ''The Diane Lucas Show'' and '' Cook's Night Out'' imparted 'specific, practical skills' on the viewer, and provided ad-lib commentary on matters of homemaking, home entertaining and motherhood. Reseda is a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1912, and its central business district started developing in 1915.
