Worldview (band)
Worldview is an American Christian metal band, while they make heavy metal, power metal, and progressive metal music, and they started making music together in 2013. They have released one studio album, ''The Chosen Few'' (2015), with M24 Music Group. Background The band originated in Los Angeles, California, in January 2013, after the death of a mutual friend, Rick Macias, who was the keyboardist for Sacred Warrior. Worldviews lead vocalist, Rey Parra, also a member of Sacred Warrior with Marcias, and George Rene Ochoa, a guitarist, keyboardist, and background vocalist for Worldview, also played in bands such as Vengeance Rising, Deliverance, Mortification, and Recon. Other members of Worldview consisted of bassist and keyboardist, Todd Libby and drummer, Johnny Gonzales. Ronson Webster, a singer-songwriter and former keyboardist for Recon and Barren Cross, took on the role as lead vocalist for the band in 2019. George Ochoa
George Ochoa (born April 29, 1962) is an American guitarist that started being active in 1987. History George Ochoa began his musical career with the band Prophet. Ochoa was a part of the band alongside Dion Sanchez and Roger Martinez who would become parts of Recon and Vengeance Rising respectively. Prophet recorded a single demo before changing their name DeRoque. After a brief stint with DeRoque, Ochoa departed. Ochoa began the power metal band, Recon with Rey Parra ( Sacred Warrior). Recon went on for a few years until 1990. Before Recon disbanded, Ochoa joined the thrash metal band, Deliverance. and recorded on the most influential of the Deliverance discography, ''Weapons of Our Warfare'' in 1990 and '' What a Joke'' in 1991. He left the band in 1991 after the recording of ''What a Joke''. Ochoa then went on to perform with Vengeance Rising as a live guitarist in 1992. Cross Rhythms is a Christian media organisation based in Stoke-on-Trent, England. It operates an FM and online radio station, produces radio shows sent internationally, and its website has resources about contemporary Christian music. History 1983–2002 In 1983, Chris Cole started a 30-minute weekly Christian music radio show on Plymouth Sound FM, an Independent Local Radio station in Plymouth. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Barren Cross
Barren Cross is an American Christian metal band that was formed in Los Angeles in 1983 by high school friends Ray Parris (guitar) and Steve Whitaker (drums). The band released six albums from 1986 to 1994. They have reunited for a few shows in recent years, and plan to record a new album. By 1984, bassist Jim LaVerde and vocalist Michael Drive (originally Mike Lee) were added. In 1989, the band appeared on ''The Morton Downey Show'' alongside members of KISS and Anthrax. In 1990, Mike Lee left and joined the band Bare Bones but would appear on the Barren Cross' later releases.
